Course Overview
Medicine in Remote Areas is an intensive 5-day course specifically designed for pre-hospital providers who want to enhance their skills and knowledge,in the management of both medical and trauma patients in the remote environment.
This is the ideal course for people working in close protection, emergency response teams, TV production and remote expeditions.
All students who wish to attend this course must demonstrate prior learning in the pre-hospital field, FPOS-I or equivalent.
Your Instructor
Our instructors are all health care professionals with military or expedition backgrounds allowing them to gain unique experiences in various hostile and remote areas of the world. They have first hand experience in providing emergency and primary care in the jungle, desert, sub zero and urban environments ranging from the South Pacific to The Arctic.
